Will This Sweet Dog in a Shelter for Over 2 Years Find Her Forever Home in Maine?
My hope through this article is to inspire the adoption of a dog seeking a loving home. As you know, the nation faces an ongoing issue with a multitude of animals in need of adoption.
According to Underhound Railroad, a non-profit animal rescue, one adorable dog is desperately in need of a home. Chyanne is her name, and she is currently under foster care in North Carolina. There's potential for her to be brought up along the East Coast, reaching as far north as Maine, to her forever home.
Will you be her family? Let me tell you a little bit about her life so far...
As the post on Facebook states, after an extensive 918 days (two years) , five months, and five days, Chyanne, a four-year-old pit bull, is still on the quest for her forever family.
Chyanne was a very shy and scared puppy at first, but has now blossomed into a confident and affectionate animal.
This brown beauty with soulful golden eyes has pulled in the hearts of her caretakers with her gentle demeanor and loving character.
Chyanna can be a bit reserved around new people, but once that trust is established, she transforms into an adoring friend. She enjoys cuddling on the couch, is potty-trained, sleeps through the night, and loves playing with toys and amusing herself.
According to Rainwalk Pet Insurance, 3.1 million dogs enter in to a shelter each year.
If you're ready to offer Chyanne the love and home she deserves, you can submit your application here.
Come on Maine, let's make this Christmas a sweet miracle for little Chyanne!
