New Year’s Eve for the Kiddos Brings Bubbles, Pizza, and a Midnight Countdown to Bangor, Maine,
This December 31, families in Bangor, Maine are invited to celebrate curiosity, community, and a sparkling start to the New Year at Midnight at the Museum at the Maine Discovery Museum.
From 4:00–6:00 PM, the museum will host a one-of-a-kind family fundraiser that turns learning and laughter into the perfect early New Year’s Eve celebration.
Midnight at the Museum is designed especially for kids and grown-ups to enjoy together. Your ticket includes delicious Portland Pie Co. pizza, drinks, and snacks to keep everyone fueled for fun.
Families can explore hands-on activities throughout the museum, spark their curiosity, and enjoy playful learning in every corner. One highlight of the evening is the lively World Map Dance Party, where music and movement bring the world to life.
As the evening wraps up, it’s time for the big moment: a Bubble Countdown at “Midnight”, which just happens to be 6:00 PM (but don’t tell the kids!). Bubbles fill the air as families count down together, creating a joyful and magical memory without staying up late.
