Actor and Comedian Seth Rogen Spotted at Kennebunkport, Maine, Restaurant

When celebrities come to Maine on their own time, they rarely go much beyond York County.

Maybe it's because the Bush family has owned a home in Kennebunkport since the late 1800s, so that's where they think all the cool people hang out?

I really don't know, but if you want to see some famous people, York County is the place to be, and one celebrity recently made an appearance in the area.

Actor and comedian Seth Rogen was spotted on Sunday during Memorial Day Weekend grabbing some delicious, fresh Maine seafood at Mabel's Lobster Claw in Kennebunkport.

The owners and customers at Mabel's were thrilled to see the actor in Maine, who has been a part of blockbuster movies like the Kung Fu Panda films, Neighbors, and a sort of live-action The Lion King. 

He's also directed four films and started doing stand-up comedy at the age of 14.

All we have is the photo, so we don't know what Rogen picked from the menu, but Mabel's has a little something for everyone.

They've been in business since the 1950s, serving up fresh muscles, steamers, calamari, fried haddock, lobster dinners and don't forget Mabel's world famous clam chowder.

Mabel's has had its fair share of celebrities popping in, too. Along with Seth Rogan, Martha Stewart stopped in to Mabel's in 2020, and Patrick Dempsey in 2024.
