It’s Back! Famous Westbrook Ice Disk is Reforming

Last year, people flipped out about the ice disk in Westbrook. It's starting to reform. Let the frenzy begin!

Westbrook tweeted that the ice disk was back...sort of. It's not a perfect circle, but that sucker is moving counter clockwise!

It was about a year ago when the ice disk in Westbrook took on a life of it's own. People tried to climb onto it, seagulls took rides on it and it was a great distraction from the rest of the world.

This part of the Presumpscot seems to be the perfect storm for ice disks to form. As we found, it's not the only one in Maine, but it is the most talked about.

It's not quite the perfect merry-go-round of ice as last year...but it's working on it...
