If You Love Cooler Weather, You’re Going To Love The Next Two Weeks in Maine
We are coming off of one of the wettest and coolest July's on record. And we are on to August, where according to the National Weather Service in Gray, the cooler than normal temperatures will continue:
"If you have been enjoying the cooler temperatures lately, we have good news to share as the latest outlooks by the
NOAA NWS Climate Prediction Center favors below-average temperatures for the next 2 weeks. There is a near-neutral chance for either above or below-average precipitation."
So what are the average temperatures for August in Maine? Here are the average highs and lows for some towns:
78 58 Brunswick
78 57 Ellsworth
75 56 Kennebunkport
71 57 Port Clyde
78 58 Portland
Are you ok with cooler temperatures? Keep in mind that sometime in August, you will see this.
My sense is we will be ok with the cooler than average temperatures if they aren't TOO cool and if it's not too rainy.
