Hilarious Warning About Fake Plumbers In Lewiston Goes Viral

Tis the season, the season for one of the most beloved holiday movies of all time, Home Alone. You'll probably see it pop up on TV a couple dozen times from now until Christmas, and if you don't, you're not trying hard enough. The movie stars McCauley Culkin as our weary young hero Kevin McCallister, alongside Joe Pesci and Daniel Stern as the bungling criminals trying to rob The McCallister home of all it's goodies. That brings us to a terrific post that's going viral in Maine...and in other parts of the country as well.

The photo is of Joe Pesci and Daniel Stern, both have clearly aged and gotten back together. The post features a small blurb about to guys posing as plumbers (as they do in the movie) and what is making this post such a big hit is that people are changing the wording to make it more local. In this case, the towns featured are Lewiston and Greene, but it really could have been anywhere in Maine.

If you spend some time reading the comments, you'll find a few people that unfortunately didn't catch the joke or didn't recognize a pair of the stars from Home Alone. Just remember kids, the wet bandits aren't coming to your house in Lewiston...and if they do, make sure you have a creepy neighbor with a big shovel to help you out!
