Paddle Under the Stars at Moosehead Lake’s ‘Glow Parade’ in Maine
Ever wanted to flow down a beautiful lake with the stars shining above you in a never ending sea of glow. You can!
According to Moosehead Lakeshore Journal, it’s the Moosehead Lake’s Second Annual Glow Paddle Parade. Happening this Saturday, August 2nd from 8-9 p.m.
The lake is about to shine like never before and I’ll tell you exactly how.
Folks from all over collect glowsticks, fairy lights, neon noodles, solar-powered sparkles, literally anything that glows and attaches it to their kayaks, paddleboards, and rafts.
Picture yourself, under the stars, on the lake with your brightest glow gear surrounded by light reflecting off of the gorgeous Moosehead lake.
Moosehead Lake’s Glow Paddle Parade Returns for a Shimmering Night on the Water
The glow parade will launch from the Greenville Forestry lost at 43 Lakeview Street and the route is purely magical.
You will pass Dockside Restaurant, and the amazing Katahdin steamboat, the Moosehead Museum around Lower Lincoln and back. So you aren’t just seeing water, you are seeing the sights! The boats will hit the water from 8:30-8:45pm.
Make sure you bring all of your glow and a life jacket, safety first, even when you are glowing.
