Get Pumped, Falmouth: Jersey Mike’s Subs is Opening on Route One

Such good sandwich news for Falmouth, Maine!

I don't know when it's opening, but I know where.

The manager of Staples in the Falmouth Village on Route One heard it from the manager of the mini-mall that Jersey Mike's will be going in where Olympia Sports once was.

Never in a million years did I think food would be going into that location, but it's perfect! Lots of parking and Falmouth needs a good sandwich shop.

Before you get your undies in a bunch, I know there are great sandwiches in Falmouth. But besides Subway with Dunkin, this would be the only dedicated sandwich shop.

Jersey Mike's has been around for decades, but not in Maine. But get ready for a Jersey Mike's explosion. They are currently in Scarborough, Windham, Brunswick, and Auburn.

Fve more are coming to Augusta, Westbrook, Saco, Topsham, and yes - Falmouth.

So what's the big deal about Jersey Mike's sandwiches? I'll let Danny Devito explain why they are the sandwich lovers' sandwiches.

Two things I love about Jersey Mike's. I love dinner and a show watching them slice the stuff right in front of you AND I LOVE THE JUICE!

Here's the thing about sandwiches. You can do mayo or mustard or a version of either, but if I had my way, there would be this juice on every sandwich. It does give a sandwich zing.

I can't wait to head down the road to Route One in Falmouth and get zinged!
