Family Dollar Is Closing Hundreds Of Locations. Which Northern New England Stores Could Be Affected?
Here's some bad news for shoppers who love great deals on merchandise at the Family Dollar. According to WGME, the company announced today that they will be closing as many as 390 stores across the country by the end of the year. In addition, more than 200 are expected to be turned into Dollar Tree. There are over 15,000 Dollar Tree stores nationwide, and as of now, the company isn't saying which of them will close. Will any of their Northern New England stores be closed by the end of the year? It's quite possible, considering that there are at least 60 of them in Maine, and at least 28 in New Hampshire, according to their website.
