Head to Sunday River in Newry on Saturday, September 19, for Maine Brew Fes, because fall foliage tastes even better when you're holding a local craft beer and you're buzzed.

The festival kicks off at 1:00 p.m., with craft beers and ciders from Maine breweries, mountain views, food, and live music.

This year's festival features more than 30 Maine breweries, so yes, pacing yourself might be the hardest part of the afternoon. 

And if you're thinking, “But what if I don't drink?”

Well, according to their site, they've got designated-driver tickets, too. You can still enjoy the food, music, mountain scenery, and general grown-up feeling of being somewhere without hearing someone yell, “MOM! Where's my shoe?” every six minutes. 

You can even make a whole day of it with brunch and a scenic chairlift ride before the festivities.
