Epic Food Truck Festival Returning to Augusta, Maine in June

We're fortunate here in Maine, especially in Central Maine, to have so many wonderful events that come back year after year. From our SummerFun Concert Series at Mill Park, to the groovy tunes on the Gardiner Waterfront each Friday evening, there is always something to go and do in our area when the weather starts to get warm.

One of those things (and, of course, one of our most favorite!) is the annual Food Truck Friday that is put on by the great group of folks over at Le Club Calumet, or, more informally, 'The Calumet Club'. Wait, before I get into the details of the food trucks can I do a real quick sidebar conversation? Okay, great.

SIDEBAR: So I (Matt James), am wicked-friggin' French, and pretty much my whole family are members at the club. People have asked me (and my wife Keri) to join for years now, and we just haven't gotten around to it yet. Well, while we were there over the weekend hanging with family and playing pool, we ended up filling out a couple of membership applications. So, as soon as we are voted on by existing members, we should be official members! Sidebar complete.

Okay, now that we got that out of the way, let's check out the sweet deats of the upcoming Food Truck Friday. Happening on Friday, June 16th, the annual event returns to the side parking lot at Augusta's Calumet Club. There will be loads of different food and dessert trucks, sure to satisfy any pallet, as well as dancin' tunes provided by The Music Crew.

And, what food truck event would be complete without a bar?! You can enjoy a cash bar offering beer, wine and some spirits!
