Don’t Ignore Those Signs About Getting A Speeding Ticket From The Sky
I learned the hard way.
It was a Wednesday morning and I was in the left lane of 101 Eastbound in Raymond.
Out of the blue, I approach I sign that says "speed checked by aircraft." No sooner after I pass the sign, I see a state trooper coming out on to the highway. He threw his lights on and got behind me.
Unbeknownst to me, my speed was being monitored by aircraft the entire time and apparently I was going a little too fast.
It's still hard for me to believe. I didn't notice that I was speeding, only that I was just keeping along with the traffic flow. Apparently all of the cars around me were also speeding, but i was the one that got nabbed for it.
I plan on fighting it, seeing as I'm not even sure they got the right car. Be warned New Hampshire: they're watching from above!
