It's official: The holidays are over and it's back to the daily grind. This is the time of year when we start to see those Christmas Trees on the side of the road, waiting to be picked up by the sanitation department. The,n who knows where the go from there. This year, why not recycle that tree for free?

Smiling Hill Farm in Westbrook, Maine has a better idea. This weekend, between 11-2 pm, you can drop off your old tree for the goats and sheep to enjoy. Last year, they received about 630 trees.

Goats love those trees. They're a little more flavorful and nutritious than hay and help clean parasites out of their system.

Smiling Hill Farm is located at 781 County Road (Route 22) in Westbrook.
