Exeter's Victoria Arlen and her professional dance partner, Val Chmerkovskiy are pure fire.

It's nice to have a local to cheer on, while I'm watching "Dancing With The Stars." I was super excited to see 22-year-old Victoria Arlen make it into the semifinals this week. For people who are unfamiliar with the ESPN personality and former Paralympian swimmer, she is from Exeter, New Hampshire and reportedly spent two years of her life in a coma. At the age of 11, Arlen was diagnosed with Transverse Myelitis and Acute Disseminated Encephalomyelitis, autoimmune disorders that caused swelling in her brain and spinal cord, according to People.

I'm sure Arlen never dreamed of doing all of the miraculous things she has accomplished after being diagnosed with these debilitative diseases. Her journey from vegetative state to stardom is inspiring.

I predict she and Val Chmerkovskiy will take home the coveted Mirror Ball Trophy. Even if she doesn't go all the way, she is already a winner in New England and her fans are cheering her on. Go Victoria!
