Maine sure does have it all when it comes to Christmas. The smell of fireplaces in the air, all the twinkling lights, and a "Maine 12 Days of Christmas" book.

In 2014, author Wendy Ulmer wrote and published a book called "My 12 Maine Christmas Days./a> The book is meant to be read just like the Christmas classic "The 12 days of Christmas." But, instead of the traditional verses, this song is specific to things to enjoy in Maine at Christmas time.

I bet your kids would get a kick out of hearing you sing the book to them on Christmas morning!
