A welcoming little neighborhood gem awaits you, in Maine.

The spot is called Coveside Coffee in Portland’s Back Cove/Woodford’s Corner. This place feels like a hug in a mug!

At first look, you feel the happiness of the exterior and can tell, this is a place where creation comes from.

According to the Portland Press Herald, the owners are Zara Bohan and Andy Nesheim  and they seamlessly give this neighborhood a place to not only drink coffee and grab a bite but to also feel inspired. 

The captivating exterior pulls you in right away, with lovely white flowers and plants painted against a rich navy blue backdrop, it's like a mural that is inviting you to stop and come inside.

The mural on the exterior was done by local South Portland Artist, Tessa Greene O’Brien, as per The Portland Press Herald. 

What truly makes this spot special is it’s heartbeat which is the community. We know by going but also by following along on their social media pages. They are constantly communicating, updating, and holding market events.  

It’s snug and gives you that snug as a bug in a rug vibe.

According to the article, even though they serve outstanding coffee from 44 North beans Deer Isle, pastries from Belleville and Prairie Baking Co., and locally made quiche and croissants, what truly sets them apart is the inspiration they give to each and every visitor.

Coveside also host local artists, makers, and creative entrepreneurs to spread their creations. 

You’ll find displays as you walk through of handmade products, art, and inventive items all available for purchase.
