Children’s Discovery Museum Hosting Halloween Movie In The Park
According to a Facebook event made by the United Way of Kennebec Valley, they are hosting a FREE Halloween-themed movie night in the park. Emerging Leaders Society of the United Way of Kennebec Valley has teamed up with the Children's Discovery Museum to bring families a FREE family night out.
United Way of Kennebec Valley's movie night will take place at Mill Park in Augusta on Friday, October 29th starting at dusk which is roughly 7 pm this time of the year. The featured movie for this event will be Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone. There will be snack bags for purchase at the concessions.
Even though the event is 100% free and open to the public, there is a suggested donation of $5 per person. Just like their previous event, they are asking that guests pre-register online, which can be done HERE.
Donations will be accepted and will go to help the United Way with community projects and 45 local nonprofit organizations.
ALCOHOL WILL NOT BE PERMITTED.
