It was a scary day for several people aboard a Cape Air plane that was bound from Maine to Massachusetts on Thursday afternoon. According to WABI TV 5, the plane had departed from the Knox County Regional Airport Thursday morning and successfully arrived at Boston Logan International.

After departing Logan, the plane was scheduled to land in Provincetown. During the landing the plane left the runway, according to Cape Air. The initial cause of the incident has been blamed on poor weather conditions causing 'an issue with the landing'.

There were no reported fatalities and all six passengers and a crew member were transported to Cape Cod Hospital. We will continue to keep this story updated as more information becomes available.
