Watch: Bret Michaels Joined Onstage By *NSYNC Members
Bret Michaels was joined by members of *NSYNC during a recent performance at the Seminole Hard Rock Hollywood Winterfest in Hollywood, Fla.
Singers Joey Fatone and Chris Kirkpatrick -- best known for their stint in the chart topping boy band -- shared the stage with Michaels for a special rendition of Poison's classic track "Nothin' But a Good Time".
Michaels handled lead vocals for the performance, with his guests chiming in on the chorus and occasional verse parts. The clearly enthused *NSYNC members were part backing singers, part cheerleaders, bouncing around the stage as they embraced the surprise collaboration. Watch video of the performance below.
"Nothin' But a Good Time" was a worldwide hit for Poison in 1988, peaking at No. 6 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. The song’s success -- along with the chart-topping ballad “Every Rose Has It’s Thorn” -- helped Poison’s sophomore album Open Up and Say… Ahh! sell more than five million copies.
Outside of Poison, Michaels has continued a steady solo career, releasing five studio albums since 1998 and regularly performing all over the globe. The singer's most recent single, "Unbroken," was released in March of 2019.
Michaels and his Poison cohorts will be touring together in 2020, part of the vaunted Stadium Tour lineup. The ‘80s glam rockers will join Motley Crue, Def Leppard and Joan Jett and the Blackhearts during the extended U.S. trek.
At a press conference announcing the tour, Michaels admitted he was "very excited" to share the same bill as his fellow rockers. The Poison frontman explained that he was looking forward to “go(ing) on that stage and be(ing) out there, not only having a great time, playing the hits, [but] having a party and engaging with the fans."
