Travel and Leisure Instagram says, "GoBankingRates broke down the priciest tourist destinations in the U.S. and some of their findings might surprise you."

The GoBankingRates study found a three day trip for two to Bar Harbor will cost you an average of $2,224, adding it to the top five priciest spots in the country.

And costs add up quickly, and if you want to fly there, airfare for two is around $883, hotels average at $556, and your dinners, as per the study.
