Are There Really Deer In Maine That Will Lick Your Car Clean? Yep!

I mean, you can't just pull up to a car wash style place and sit in your car while wild deer lick all the road salt residue off of your vehicle, at least not as far as I know, but it's widely known that deer love salt so it comes as no surprise that, given the chance, of course deer would lick the salt residue of a car, or anything else for that matter.

But one deer in Maine had an absolute field day with a road salt covered pick up truck earlier this week.

Facebook user Lovena West snapped a few pics of a wild deer doing it's best 'weird guy licking a doorbell for 3 hours' impression.

This sweet little deer took it's time and licked the tailgate clean of salt and then was rewarded for it's work with a nice fresh carrot handed to it from the window of the truck owners house.
