For several years now, Saint Joseph's College of Maine has held a unique fundraising event that is perfect for winter and is back again. Enjoy cocktails, beer, and wine at the annual Ice Bar. I've never been to an ice bar myself, because I enjoy my adult beverages inside where it's warm, but this annual event has been known to sell out, so there are plenty who are all in on this fun event.

What's an ice bar? It looks like a piece of artwork, like the one above which is not at Saint Joseph's College. The bar at St.Joe's is similar and made completely out of clear ice, looking nearly like glass. I can only imagine the amount of work that goes into making an ice bar. You've got to hope it's going to be cold so the bar doesn't melt.

What's On The Drink Menu?

Cocktails and martinis are poured through the ice and served as well as a selection of beer and wine. A live DJ will be spinning throughout the event as well.
If you're interested, you'll probably want to get your tickets now because last year's event sold out.
Your ticket includes one specialty drink and food and you can buy more drink tickets at the event and you can win prizes in a raffle. You must be 21 or older.
This all happens on Saturday, February 8 from 5 to 8 p.m. Get your tickets now before you miss out on the Ice Bar event website.
