Every Friday in October, we're giving someone who is currently dealing with cancer or who has survived it a makeover, courtesy of Anabel's Angels, a 501c3 nonprofit organization designed to provide support to underfunded clinical trials and programs for the terminally ill and physically afflicted.

Desiree Dufour is from Skowhegan, Maine. Her godmother, Doreen, nominated her for a makeover and wrote the following about her:

My beautiful goddaughter, Desiree had breast cancer a few years ago, and sadly it has returned. But I know she will beat it yet again! She is one of the most brave and strong women I have ever known. She is a true fighter, and is living each day with all the courage a person can have. Desiree has 2 wonderful kids, and they are her fighting force to beat this disease. I told her she is a miracle girl, and I think she really believes it. She has such strength; it's truly amazing to watch her. I am so very proud of her, and feel that she deserves this great prize. It would really give her very positive vibes!
