UPDATE: Siblings Taken by Mom From Somersworth, NH, Home Located
**10:50 a.m. UPDATE: NH State Police said the children have been safely located in Maine. Somersworth Police said they were found at a hotel in South Portand. No other details were disclosed.**
An Amber Alert has been issued by New Hampshire State Police for two children believed to have been taken from the home they share with their grandmother in Somersworth by their biological mother.
Alaina Wilson, 11, and Chance Wilson, 8 were last seen around 7:30 p.m. at the 93 Colonial Village Park in Somersworth where they live with their grandmother, who has legal custody of the children, according to State Police.
Police said two children appear to have been removed from their home through a window by their mother, Kaileigh Nichols, 32. Alaina's cell phone was left behind on her bed.
Kaileigh Nichols took a gray 2009 Honda Civic from a relative in Maine and went to Somersworth to get the children, according to police. She was seen at a school event on Thursday afternoon in that vehicle. The Honda has Maine license plate 2827A7. It is a veterans plate.
Police said Kaileigh Nichols suffers from drug addiction and is known to have mental health issues.
Kaileigh Nichols is described as a white female with brown hair and brown eyes, standing 5 feet 1 inch tall, and weighing 125 pounds.
Alaina Wilson is described as white female with brown hair and brown eyes, standing 5 feet 2 inches tall and weighing 96 pounds.
Chance Wilson is described as a white male with brown hair and brown eyes standing between 4 feet 6 inches and 4 feet 10 inches tall, and weighing 68 pounds.
Police asked anyone sighting the three to call Somersworth Police at 603-692-3131 or 911.
