*Dogs can learn up to 250 words and gestures, count to five, are born left or right handed and are the equivalent of a two year old child.

*Poodles, German shepherds, Golden retrievers and Dobermans round out the top five smartest breeds. 

*They feel envy and keep score on if they get a fair shake or not.

*They can sniff certain diseases like Cancer, Epilepsy and Diabetes. Dogs can be trained to sniff out a Cancer of the lung, skin, bladder and prostate.
