Allagash Brewing Company Sends Five-Year Employees to Belgium

At Allagash Brewing Company, five years of dedication comes with something truly extraordinary. Bellagash, a week-long adventure through Belgium hosted by company founder Rob and Brewmaster Jason. More than just a trip, Bellagash is a heartfelt thank-you to employees who pour their passion into the brewery year after year. And this year’s crew of twelve returned home with stories as rich and flavorful as the beers they craft.

The trip kicked off with a river cruise through Ghent, where historic facades and winding waterways set the tone for a week of exploration. From there, the group embarked on a whirlwind of culinary and brewing experiences. Potatoes became a recurring theme of mashed, fried, frite-style, and in every delicious form Belgium is famous for. But the true magic happened in the breweries that opened their doors with unforgettable hospitality.

Allagash’s team was welcomed by some of Belgium’s most iconic brewers: De Glazen Toren, Kasteel, Dok, Cantillon, De Dolle, and De La Senne. Each stop offered something special with stories of tradition, tastings of world-class ales, and a look behind the scenes at the craft that inspired Allagash from the very beginning. It was a week filled with camaraderie, culture, and clinking glasses.
