The ebb and flow of restaurants in Maine continues, as some have shuddered during the pandemic and a few new ones have opened. The Biddeford/Saco area has seen its fair share of closures over the past several months but is about to see an exciting new opening, a Latin-American restaurant called Pacifico in Saco Mill #4 at 120 Main Street.

According to Portland Food Map, Pacifico is the latest project from the purveyors of Quiero Cafe, which has locations in both Saco and Portland. Pacifico will serve bold-flavored dishes inspired by favorites from across Central and South America. Plenty of spice mixed with rich, deep flavors.

Shared by Pacifico Restaurant on Facebook, take a look at some of the photos of the decor you can expect when visiting the new eatery. The owners hope to convey a casual experience while still offering fine-dining cuisine. Both locations of Quiero Cafe have been overwhelming hits in Portland and Saco. Google reviews give those locations a near perfect score, so visitors to Pacifico can reasonably expect a top-notch evening out.

As of this writing, Pacifico had not officially announced an opening date but the plan is to open sometime in November. CDC guidelines during the pandemic will be strictly adhered to.
