94.9 HOM Is Now Playing Continuous Christmas Music
The messages began pouring in a few weeks ago, even before Halloween. "When will you start playing Christmas music again this year?" HOM has become known as the radio station in Northern New England with the most holiday spirit, playing continuous Christmas music every year around this time. We started our annual tradition yesterday, kicking it off during the HOM Morning Show with "Frosty The Snowman." So, why Frosty? Well, there's a very good reason for it! We wanted to bring a little extra holiday cheer to some very special children this year. So the staff at Barbara Bush Children's Hospital helped us poll the 25 inpatient children at their facilities, to determine the song. And the one they chose was Frosty. We thank those children from the bottom of our hearts, and hope they all get better soon. We also thank the staff for their help with this task. Merry Christmas!
