5th Annual River Of Tree Kicking Off In Augusta This Month

One sure sign that Christmas is near is the River of Trees in Downtown Augusta. This year will mark the 5th Annual River of Trees at the Colonial Theater in Augusta according to the Facebook event page.

This fun, festive, and family friendly event will take place this year from Friday, November 26th through Sunday November 28th. Friday and Saturday the hours will be 11am to 7pm, and Sunday will have a split schedule from 12pm to 4pm with a special sensory sensitive time frame on Sunday November 28th from 10am to 12 noon.

This great collaboration between the Augusta Downtown Alliance and the Colonial Theater will feature over 40 Local Business sponsored trees that will have displays with $300 in retail gifts.

Like in previous years, the trees will be themed for kids, families and adults. To "win" a tree all comes down to having the winning raffle ticket for the specific tree you assigned your tickets to.

A great community benefit that will have all the proceeds going to the Augusta Downtown Alliance and The Colonial Theater.

To get it there will be a $2 admission. Kids under 10 are free! You can purchase additional raffle tickets for $.50 each.
