Nathanial is loving all the cards!

Heather is Nathanial's mom. Imagine this happening right outside their home. She has started a GoFundMe page and is so struck by the generosity of the community. She says that she is the mom of a

...wonderful, thoughtful, sweet 13-year-old boy, who had the unfortunate luck of being hit by a semi-truck when crossing in front of a stopped school bus outside our home.

Tuesday, May 30 when the accident happened, she said that he was pretty beat up, and awaiting surgery on his left foot. The money raised is helping cover expenses not covered by insurance and the aftercare he will need. Managing the pain, physical therapy and getting his appetite back are all things being worked on.

But the cards and well wishes coming in are a huge source of joy for both Nathanial and his family!

He is LOVING getting cards, please keep sending them! He has a new removable cast and wow that was an awesome process to watch!! I just want to say again thank you for the prayers, the donations and the cards! So many blessings!

Heck, I still love getting mail. Although, it's mostly bills and mostly disappointing. If you want to make Nathanial smile, send him a little something! We have a lot of radio stations here and also wanted to get him a little something. So we grabbed some Funtown/Splashtown tickets and bumper stickers! He got it!
