10 Of The Most Unique Beer Flavors To Sample At Portland On Tap
Everybody knows there will be beer, and lots of it, at Portland On Tap, happening this weekend at the Cross Insurance Arena in Portland. With unlimited sampling, you'll certainly be enjoying your some of your most common favorite varieties from brewers like Sam Adams, Guinness, Shipyard, and Smuttynose. There will be plenty of IPAs, stouts, lagers, and other kinds of beer most people enjoy on a regular basis. You'll be able to enjoy as much of all of those as you want. But Portland On Tap is also a great opportunity for you to experience some types of beer that you've never tried, or maybe ever even heard of! Here are a few of the beer types I saw on the list that I've never tried, but I'm certainly looking forward to trying, this Saturday:
- Lobster Ale - Belfast Bay Brewing Company
- Dill Cucumber Pale - Blank Canvas Brewery
- Blueberry Coffee Ale - Brewery Ommegang
- Coconut Pineapple - Crook & Marker
- Cold Brew Coffee Porter - Flying Dog Brewery
- Cinnamon Toast - Some Brewing Company
- Whoopie Pie Stout - Some Brewing Company
Those all sound like they'd be really fun to try. And here are a few that I'll try just because they have great names, even though I have no idea how they'll taste:
- Dancing Madly Backwards - York Beach Beer Company
- Dead Guy Ale - Rogue Ales
- Liquid Truth Serum - Dogfish Head Craft Brewery
Hope to see you at Portland On Tap this Saturday! If you haven't gotten your tickets yet, you can grab 'em now here.
