For the nearly 50-year-old Conway Scenic Railroad, fall is probably their best season of operation. Not only do they offer rides through the White Mountains region of New Hampshire for stunning views of fall foliage, but they also celebrate the season every year with their annual Pumpkin Patch Event. This year's is happening this weekend and if you've got kids, they can get their very own pumpkin.

The Pumpkin Patch Express runs throughout the Halloween weekend, October 30 and 31 and it's the perfect way to kick off the spookiest night of the year.

Trains leave North Conway station throughout the weekend for the 90 minute trip to the Conway freight house and back. At Conway, the first 500 kids to ride the train will get to pick out a complimentary pumpkin from their "pumpkin patch," and cider and donuts will be available for purchase. Riders are encouraged to wear their Halloween costumes too.

This event is likely to book fast, so make sure you grab your tickets now. Coach tickets are $20 for adults and kids 13 and over, kids 4 to 12 are $14, and kids 3 and under ride free. First class tickets are $25 over 13, $19 ages 4 to 12 and $11 for 3 and under.

Grab your tickets now from the Conway Scenic Railroad website.
