A sure sign of the times; emoji, photobomb, and click-bait are just a few words being added to the most recent edition of the Merriam-Webster dictionary. Now if someone asks you what "WTF" means, you can simply say, "look it up!"

If you don't know what jeggings are by now, or what twerking means, well you're probably living under a rock! But that's okay, because you can also look those words up in the M-W dictionary. There are some other words that are not so unusual but popular enough that they have also been added, like:

Sriracha, meme, NSFW, net neutrality, sharing economy and click fraud. There's also "vocal fry." I personally did not know of this word or phrase but apparently it's popular enough to be added to the dictionary! If you've don't heard of this either, here's what it means: vocal fry (n.) Definition: a vocal effect produced by very slow vibration of the vocal cords and characterized by a creaking sound and low pitch.
