You Could Be Awarded Up To $900 If You’ve Been Robocalled

I don't know about you, but I get robocalled A LOT on my cell phone. Several times a week. Well now, it looks like there might finally be some redemption!

A website has been set up that makes it easy to see if your phone number makes you eligible to be a part of a class action lawsuit against Resort Marketing Group, a company that robocalled people between 2009 and 2014.

The lawsuit will award eligible individuals $300 per call received, up to $900 total.

I entered my phone number, and it was eligible! I then gave them my contact information, and submitted my claim. The whole process took about two minutes.

It looks like the final hearing will be in April 2018, so I guess that's when I'll find out if I'll be getting any money, and how much.
