In his time with the station, Charns reported, anchored, produced investigative news stories about some of the most important issues facing Mainers. He also had the highest performing social media of any anchor or reporter in Maine, sharing content with a large number of followers on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.

David also provided audio newscasts heard on the HOM Morning Show.

It's been a pleasure to know David on both a professional and personal level. It breaks my heart that he's leaving us, but I know he has a bright future ahead of him.

He called into the show this week to chat with Nikki and I about his decision to leave, and reflect on his time here in Maine. Listen below.
