Cassidy St. Jernquist has one request of the town of Gorham, Maine. She just wants to keep her pet pig named Wilbur. Wilbur is a miniature pig who has been with the Jernquist family since he was 6 weeks old, according to the Journal Tribune. If Gorham will amend its land use code, Wilbur should get to stay in his Little Falls home, according to the report. The proposed code change would allow farm animals that are 50 pounds or less to live on small lots of under 40,000 square feet.

The proposal is now in the hands of the Planning Board's subcommittee for review, as per the Journal Tribune. Wilbur's fate is still up in the air. We will let you know what happens. Hopefully, the piglet will get to stay in his home with his human family.
