The Christmas day countdown is on! In a week, the kids will wake up to toys under the tree, and joyous wonder in their eyes. The night before is a different story! Christmas eve with the little ones can be trying. It's hard to get them to sleep because they are so 'amped' up on sweets, and can't wait for Santa to come. I am sure you have a tradition you do with your family Christmas Eve. In my family, we each got to open one gift under the tree. And, of course, put out milk and cookies for Santa. But, in Maine 'The Night Before Christmas' may be a little different. Or, even funny!
