It must be nice to have enough money to make purchases like this! Earlier this month, a Maine auction house handled the sale of a 125 year old pair of Levis jeans for close to $100,000.

Talk about vintage! According to the Portland Press Herald, the jeans had been stored in a trunk for decades, and were only worn a few times, so they're in pretty good condition. Turns out the denim used to make the jeans was actually produced at a mill in New Hampshire.

Part of the agreement was that the buyer will remain anonymous, so I guess we'll never know who shelled out all that dough for them.
