"Game of Thrones" returns for its eighth and final season on Sunday on HBO. Are you ready #ForTheThrone?

It's been two long years since winter arrived in Westeros. There are so many questions left unanswered -- The most important of which: Can the White Walkers be stopped now that they have one of Daenerys Targaryen's (Emilia Clarke) dragons? The eighth season only has six episodes, and three of them are much longer than the one-hour escape from reality that we’ve become addicted to in previous seasons.

Hopefully, we will finally learn the fate of our favorite GoT characters.

Century Link took a look at which character each state is obsessed with. You would think Jon Snow (Kit Harington) and Daenerys Targaryen would be at the top of the list for New England, but that is not the case. Only "Thronees" in Massachusetts searched online for Jon Snow the most.

Jorah Mormont (Iain Glen) seems to be Maine's favorite, while New Hampshire chose Ygritte (Rose Leslie), Jon's first true love. For Vermont and Rhode Island, it's the evil Joffrey Baratheon Jack (Gleeson). His equally sinister grandfather, Tywin Lannister (Charles Dance), dominated Connecticut.

If you've never watched "Game of Thrones" before; but are intrigued, here is a six minute recap of the first seven seasons:

Season Eight premieres Sunday night, April 14th on HBO, and the series finale will air on May 19th.
