I'll admit I've been watching too much television lately.  I think I've gone through most of Netflix's library. That's why i was so excited when a new "old" show popped up.

Unsolved Mysteries is back!  The original creators are back, as well as the producers of "Stranger Things", so you know it's going to be good!

This show features true crime & paranormal activities and the revamped version will focus on just one story per episode.

I was excited when I started watching and saw that one of the episodes was set right in Great Barrington, MA.  The episode to look for is "Berkshires UFO", and features sightings in  Great Barrington, Sheffield, Stockbridge and Egremont.

WWLP News got a chance to talk to Archivist Gary Leveille about the show:

"On September 1, 1969, a number of people had some bizarre sightings and they ranged from seeing a giant glowing disc right in front of them and then zipping away to what appeared to be actual abductions where time was lost and they were beamed into a ship”

Here's a clip of the episode:

According to WWLP News, some of the episode was filmed at the Berkshire Athenaeum which is Pittsfield's public library.  I was excited to see this because i went to high school in the neighboring town of Dalton, MA.

So, if you're ready to see some really chilling and spooky sightings, check out the reboot of Unsolved Mysteries on Netflix now!
