You Had Us at Ice Cream Taco, Maine
Your life just got a whole lot sweeter. Why? Give it up for Treworgy Family Orchards, officially opened for the season and they really did it in the sweetest way possible.
Located on Union Street in Levant, Maine their opening day fell perfectly on Taco Tuesday and Cinco de Mayo, so the farm welcomed us the best way they know how, with a treat that’s creating a huge buzz: the ice cream taco.
Now, this isn’t your average dessert. It’s a freshly made, homemade waffle cone, shaped like a taco shell, willed with scoops of soft serve in chocolate, vanilla, or a twist if you want to get frisky.
Then comes the fun, wait for it...rich homemade hot fudge, whipped cream, sprinkles, and even nuts if that’s your thing.
It’s the kind of handheld creation that feels nostalgic and totally new at the same time.
But the ice cream taco is just part of the experience.
Opening day brought families out to enjoy everything the orchard is known for, fresh doughnuts, pizza, smoothies, and a full day of springtime energy. One of the biggest highlights?
Meeting the farm’s newest (and arguably cutest) additions: baby goats.
But listen, the ice cream taco is just a part of the experience.
Treworgy Family Orchards brought families out on opening day and they are known for so many magical surprises. Fresh doughnuts, pizza, smoothies and there newest addition of baby goats. Arguably the cutest part.
