Saco, Maine, is home to Aquaboggan Water Park, a place where families and friends can cool off on a hot summer day. However, what is a fun day filled with laughs and smiles during the summer turns into a night filled with screams and horrors.

During the month of October, you can gather your bravest friends and family behind Aquaboggan Water Park to walk in the woods. Now, why is walking in the woods terrifying? Well, because you will be walking during the night, and things may jump out to give you a bit of a fright (I did not mean for that to rhyme).

Behind Aquaboggan you will find the Trail of Terror where you can embark on a 30-minute walk in the woods. However, you may want to watch out as your guideless walk is actually an October haunt.

You guessed it, while you walk at night in the woods, scare actors will be jumping out at you ready to make you scream in fear.

According to Trail of Terror, this year's haunt will feature "18 scenes and new thrills that are unique and never before seen or experienced." Unlike some haunted houses, this outdoor event will be socially distanced which means that your group is sure to experience all that this haunt has to offer.
