On this all-things-camping website and app, The Dyrt, its latest top 10 list places the rustic, traditional Dry River Campground in Crawford Notch State Park located at 1464 US Route 302 in Harts Location, New Hampshire as the number one slot for the best camping in New England.
According to The Dyrt, Dry River offers a woodland setting filled with waterfalls sitting right on the Dry River.
The campground is right in the heart of Crawford Notch State Park where you have your own picnic table, fire ring on the bank of Dry River where you can enjoy nature and even hike to nearby waterfalls. There are showers, flushing toilets, and laundry. It's also pet friendly.
The Dyrt CEO Kevin Long says this top 10 list of Best Places to Camp in New England in based on reviews and ratings from its vast community of campers, and adds that this list represents some of the most unique, rustic, luxurious and sought-after camping destinations in New England.
