PORTLAND HAPPY 2-HOUR TOUR

Spend a few hours on Saturday afternoon sipping on craft beers and creative cocktails with Maine Food Tours as your guide. You'll hit a number of Old Port watering holes where you'll hear tales of Portland's history, including prohibition. The tour also includes a mixology lesson with bitters and appetizer pairings at each stop.

Visit New Orleans by way of Hallowell on Monday night. Trombonist and vocalist Glen David Andrews and his band will be performing a show that combines funk, R&B, jazz, gospel and Zydeco. Andrews' latest record is "Redemption."

Melissa Etheridge opens the weekend with a show at the Music Hall in Portsmouth Thursday. The Academy Award and GRAMMY winning artist will take the stage to perform songs from her new album, "This is M.E.," as well as some of her greatest hits like “Come to My Window”, “I’m The Only One” and “I Want To Come Over.”
Saturday, 2 p.m.
The story of Beauty and the Beast, Jr. comes to life on stage this weekend at the Redfern Performing Arts Center at Keene State College. Presented by the MoCo Arts Teens Musical Theatre, it tells the classic story of Belle, a young woman in a provincial town, and the Beast, who is really a young prince trapped under the spell of an enchantress.
Sunday, 7 p.m.
See a performance of 1964: The Tribute this weekend at the Palace Theatre in Manchester. If you have missed their previous stops in New Hampshire, you won't want to miss this one.
