Here's a quick little story for you.

Yours truly spent the past summer living in the Finger Lakes region of New York. The area's known in part for its many wineries, so it only makes sense that a tourist would pay one a visit, right?

Soon after arriving at Three Brothers Wineries & Estates in Geneva, this New Hampshire gal was approached by a family of six strangers who had noticed her sitting by herself with a flight. After all, when you're spending time in a new place, you aren't close with as many people, so sometimes you gotta fly solo. Anyway, being the welcoming and friendly humans that they were, this family decided there was room for one more, and brought her with them for their remaining tastings on the property.

That day ended up being one of the many highlights of a great summer.

Having since returned to New Hampshire, it makes sense that one might wonder about the wineries that exist here in the Granite State. Whether you want to enjoy a romantic getaway with your partner, a girls' weekend or bachelorette celebration, or simply want to spend quality time with friends and family, you can never go wrong with a relaxing visit to the vineyards.

So, what are some of your favorite wineries in the area? We took to Facebook to ask you guys, and received plenty of recommendations.
