There Is Not One But Two Craft Beer Festivals This Weekend In Maine
Maine is always a great place for the craft beer lover. There is no shortage of breweries or bars that have the latest delicious beer on tap. This weekend is especially delightful for those that love Maine made craft beers because there are two festivals dedicated to just that.
Craft Brew Races 5K Run and Brewfest
From 12pm-4pm this Saturday at the Edward Payson Park in Portland folks will gather to dress up all funky like and run a 5k. This excitement is followed by a three hour beer fest featuring 40 different breweries including Foundation, Liquid Riot, Lone Pine and many more!
Baxter Brewing Presents The Third Annual Great Falls Brewfest
This all goes down at the Simard-Payne Memorial Park in Lewiston from 1pm-5pm this Saturday. One doesn't even have to physically exert themselves in order to enjoy a cold brew. There is an option to get involved in some activities if you so desire. There will be a cornhole tournament, canoe race, putting games and a whole lot more. Not to mention food and live entertainment from the bands Girls, Guns and Glory and Sammy D and The Late Risers. And obviously the star of the whoe day, the beer! Breweries such as Bissel Brothers, Barreled Souls, Bear Bones and more will be there with cold beers ready for drinking.
Get out there and enjoy some adult sodas on a beautiful Summer day! :)
