After capturing local, nationwide, and worldwide attention this winter, the huge spinning ice disk that formed in the Presumpscot River in Westbrook finally succumbed to warm temperatures last week, and melted...breaking the hearts of many.

But what is this? I

n a video posted by Channel 8 WMTW's David Charns, it appears that another one may be reforming!

"Ice Disk 2.0," as the news station dubbed it, looks like it could be a smaller version of the now famous phenomenon. And with a sizeable winter storm on the way this week, it does have a chance to become something remarkable.

Although with temperatures forecast to be above freezing six of the next seven days, it probably doesn't have a chance to be as big, or long lasting, as its predecessor.
