The Ultimate New England Birth: Mother Has Baby In Dunkin Donuts’ Parking Lot During A Snowstorm

Baby Callaway wasn't going to wait til the weather cleared up. He was ready to enter the world!

According to WGME Mariah Tate thought she was going to into false labor when a relative called 911. She wasn't, it was the real deal.

It was during the big snowstorm last week that dumped over a foot and a half of snow on southern Maine and New Hampshire. So needless to say her ambulance ride on the snow covered roads was a bumpy one.

The paramedics made the decision that they couldn't wait the three miles to get to the hospital that it needed to happen! They pulled over in the Dunkin Donuts parking lot in Rochester and told Mariah to start pushing!

Giving birth in a Dunkin Donuts parking lot during a snow storm is the ultimate New England birth if you ask me! :) Glad to hear Mom and baby Callaway are healthy and doing well.
