Mr. Phelps was a teacher at my junior high school. His life was cut short by a distracted driver.

When I stumbled upon this video this week, it shook me to the core.

I didn't have Mr. Phelps as a teacher in my years at Rundlett Junior High School in Concord, NH. However, I do remember seeing him in the halls.

I'm only now hearing of the his tragic accident that happened almost three years ago.

I want as many people as possible to see this video. This man's life ended much too soon because of of something so careless - a driver who was distracted by her phone. Watch the video below. I hope you'll think of this incident the next time you are tempted to reach for your phone while driving.
