The Price Is Going Up On Single Sips
The State Of Maine didn't outlaw Nips, so they're gonna do this instead.
The Sun Journal reports that the cost of this single sip serving will rise from .99 to 1.49. There is also an increase in costs for over 1,000 other products.
"The price increases on lower-end spirits will push up the cost to consumers by 20 to 50 percent on any given bottle covered by the new edict. Larger 1.75-liter bottles covered by the new edict, for instance, would see a $2.50 increase, a hit to many consumers."
Make sure your voice is heard on this issue. This will affect a lot of people, not just those who enjoy the single serve size.
